Lovely hot lunch, with beer, wine and coffee/tea. Sat by the window, watching the world go by. Warm and cosy on a cold winter's day. Staff friendly and attentive, as always.

Lovely lunch with family - great service, staff friendly! Child friendly too. I had fish and chips - super fresh and nice clean batter! Best fish n’ chips in a long time! Recommend lunch here!

This is a family-run place. Very friendly kind people. Excellent food - including freshly prepared vegetarian dinner and cooked breakfast. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Recommended for a good value stay.

Very nice place beautiful menu, when asking the locals where to eat, this is the place they say, left my AirPods behind and the staff made sure I had them back the same day awesome service!

The family run hotel is excellent for couples looking for a central spot to stay in Brechin.
The service was very good, the food extremely tasty, and the room (102) we had, spacious and well appointed.

Me and my husband was staying here for two nights on the first morning the breakfast was good and the room had no hot water or heating on the second morning breakfast was not so good to much grease on the food, the shower was terrible...barely warm and the heating dials fell off....not a good weekend.

Twice we have been here past two weeks. The food is delightful and scrumptious. Best place in brechin right now. The curry is the best I have ever had and I've been eating in plenty curry restraunts this is the best. Very nice owners make you very welcome.🫠

We have stopped at the Northern Hotel lots of times for a meal on our way home and it is always spotlessly clean, warm and a very welcoming atmosphere to go into. Our meal was as usual cooked fresh and arrived at the table nice and hot. Everything on the plates was very well cooked and presented. We will definitely be stopping again for more meals in the future.

We popped in for food on the recommendation of another bar. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was on another level . Lasagne and Stroganoff looked as good as they tasted. However, the jewel in the crown, Sri-Lankan sweet curry. So sublime, simply presented but OMG the taste explosion was amazing. Based on the main courses, the pudding and cakes this chef knows their food, with a passion. Did I mention how lovely the staff were, actually I felt as if the restaurant staff were my personal host! Fantastic!

Attività famigliare, proprietari molto gentili con qui scambiare due parole fa veramente piacere. Camere pulite e di giusta dimensione. Collazione ottima. Parcheggio sul piazzale privato del hotel. Gentilezza unica, consigliato assolutamente.
